Lazoghly Complex – Area
The Lazoghly Complex represents a pioneering adaptive re-use and urban regeneration project in Downtown Cairo. The complex, which has been Egypt’s Ministry of Interior Headquarters for decades, has now been evacuated in order to relocate. The 10 buildings’ ages range from over a century old to more recent ones. It has now been re-imagined via a state-of-the-art design to fit its new purpose as a mixed-use complex featuring Hotels, a Business School, Office Buildings, Retail, and a Multistorey Car Park.
